Okay the easiest way I’ve been told to do a complete v8 swap in a ranger is to buy a complete late 90s explore with 5.0 bc it’s got all the parts you need and all the plugs and plug ins and everything is almost all the same and is in almost the same spot including computer mount and motor mounts. So can Some one tell me what parts do I need to do a complete v8 swap in my 95 Mazda b2300 2wd single cab swb

If the Explorer V8 is 2WD as well it would help, they were all automatics, you can swap in a manual M5OD-R2 but V8 computer needs to be re-programmed for that

You for sure need a remote mount oil filter setup
Probably a new oil pan and pickup tube

1996/7 Explorers didn't have PATS which makes the swap easier, but 1998-2001 Explorers with PATS are OK, you just need to deal with the PATS anti-theft system
Which means you WILL need a PATS key from the explorer you get
