^^ Agreed. Never hurts to look up info about other's trucks, if at nothing else for an idea of what they've done. Part of the TOTM concept in my opinion is acknowledge the work or contributions of members to a forum. To each their own.

 

^^also agreed, and it also gives others ideas for their trucks.....seeing something pointed out as a key mod in TOTM...

 

I agree, Im up for helping out as well if someone wants to get it going again.

personally i could care less if i win......cause i don't build/modify my truck for others enjoyment.....i do it to what i like and to what i enjoy.....just so happens people like what i do....

 

TOTM is a terrible idea for our community. The dramatic changes to our vehicles we would have to make would take more than a month to afford and complete. And like Dirty says, 99.5 % of the members' trucks here look the same. The same 4 people would win every time. If they really need an ego boost go for it.

Let me just congradulate Zabeard, Highroller, Badkarma, and I dunno ....someone else for their repeat victories now.

at what point are people winning TOTM because there is no one worthy left. My truck is an almost bone stock piece of junk, but if everyone can only win once...eventually my truck will win truck of the month. That's stupid.

a body lift and 33 BFG's should not earn you truck of the month, but that's the set up that most members are running.

If you think "your" truck is special, submit it to a magazine
If you think someone else's truck is pretty, send them a PM.

some peoples trucks are bone stock cause they went for function mods over fassion mods.....for instance, Frank (pastfinder).....his struck looks stock, but it is far from it.....and i like it because he went for mods that were nice and functionable that were never offered in a Ranger...

 

What do you get if you win? bragging rights,pic of your truck on the home page,I would want a cookie.
