Picture Thread?

I put this up in the general section because probably more viewers in here.

i think we should get a thread up for general Ranger Pictures with tire size.

1 shot from the side

1 from the front

details on tire size/rim size/bl or sl. (Maybe rim name if not well known)

one giant thread to help people get a few on what looks on what gens and everything.

would be less Picture request threads, yes we have the tire fitment thread, but this would be an addition and be placed in the wheel/tire thread.

I don't wanna start a my forum is better than your forum war or anything but are you talking about something like this? Photos of Lifted RBV's With Different Lift & Tire Sizes - The Ranger Station Forums
Photos of different wheel/tire sizes on stock and lowered 2WD's - The Ranger Station Forums

Could be a good idea...

FSB has a sticky dedicated to members with pictures of their rigs...kinda helps people get an idea of what truck goes with what member.

However, FSB doesn't have a "vehicle pictures" part of the forum. I suppose thats kinda the same idea.

It's a good idea....I like it. It'll be a thread that eventually, you'd scroll through 2 years worth of pictures and seeing trucks progress. There'll still be pic requests and people asking what fits and what doesn't. And in a perfect world, there wouldn't be random posts and questions within the thread IMO, just straight up info and pics. But that's just not what's gonna happen and we all know it. Maybe a format like this:

Year:
Model:
Suspension setup: (bodylifts would be mentioned here)
Wheels:
Tires:
Pics:

If you think it's a good idea, make one. Start the first post and do it. If it continues in a constructive manner and guidelines are met or whatever, it'll likely be stickied.

Don't really appreciate that all too much. If you guys think it's a good idea, freakin' make the thread and participate in it. Do you seriously really think the staff aren't going to allow that sort of thread? Sounds quite rediculous if you ask me.

Not trying to start a "my forum is better than yours" arguement or anything....but here, we don't close out threads if the questions been asked a few times before. At other places, they close it with a post that says "search". Don't be rediculous.

Yeah.

Thread is up: https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...re-thread.html

I'll be talking to the OP through PM shortly to make it so the first post shows all the "rules" or whatever.
