Blinker clicking (not what you think)....

OK, here's a reason to go for a spin in your ranger....

Without blinker on everything is A-OK.

With blinker on (left or right, don't matter), when I turn the steering I hear a clicking sound from behind my steering wheel. Its not the regular blinker sound (which works btw). It sounds like the turn signal cancel cam is catching on something. It cancels no problem whenever I turn my wheel back. Its not loud either, but it is noticable.

Do you peeps hear this in your ranger as well?

I first noticed this after I had to make a left, left, left turn. I held the blinker arm down to keep the blinker on (probably a stupid idea on my part-lesson learned), instead of having it cancel half way through the turn, now i hear this clicking sound.

Maybe it was always there and I just started to notice it?

So with blinker on, you peeps DO hear a clicking sound when turning the wheel? Maybe every 1/4 turn or something like that?

I hear you on the PITA blinker. Reason I bring this up is when I was holding the blinker stick down when doing that left left left turn, I heard a terrible grinding sound from inside the steering wheel, but once the blinker turned off, it was gone and never returned. Now I hear the click when I turn. Maybe I am just worrying too much and notice the click now that I heard the grind before and I started to pay attention to it.
