PLEASE HELP

i ve really messed up my firing order on my truck i dont know what happen this ha never happened to me before ive changed the trucks plugs once before with out a problem but now it wont crank tried it three times whats the safe way to fix this

Look up the firing order for your truck

You probably mixed the wires. Thats why you do 1 at a time.....


Like thorny said look up the fireing order of your motor.

if i do this will it f*** up the motor or will it fix it self? ive tryed cranking it three times

how does the firing oder on the motor ? from the fire wall

it says it goes
1-4-2-5-3-6
were does the 1 start

Well, if I were you I would stop trying to start it and make sure you have all the wires in their correct places.

Also did you get your plugs pre-gaped? If not you will need to gap them.

probably idles ruff cause you mixed up the wires tried cranking it and have now got it sorted. but there might be left-overs in the cylinders that need to get pushed out.

yea i would check the gap on the plugs. and that should solve the problem

it will still crank and it sounds normal , then after the rpm go down it starts to run rough
and i didnt have it runing more that 20 sec could it be the timing from trying to crank it in the wrong order

Try to start the truck and let it run for a few minutes. Like one guy said, it might need to refigure itself out.
