Please help...Gauges reading high, what should I do?

I topped off my gas tank in my 94 Ranger STX 3.0L a couple of days ago and noticed that when full, the gauge reads WAY above full, much more than normal. Same thing for my ammeter and oil pressure and temp gauges. I also have an 85 Mustang SVO, and from my experiences with it, the instrument cluster voltage regulator was usually the fault. I know that things have changed a bit between my 85 SVO and my 94 Ranger, but I need to know if anyone has had this issue before and what the fix is? I have check and clean all of the obvious grounds between the engine and body, verified and cleaned my grounds at the negative terminal on the battery. Am I missing anything? Can anyone help me out with this?

Thanks all in advance.

To me it seems like there is too much voltage going to the cluster. How to find the cause of this however, I have no idea haha.

What is your battery voltage with the truck running? You could have a voltage regulator going out on you.
