I got under a gas station cover and waited for it to pass, I avoided 95 percent of the hail
my truck only got hit by about 10 pieces but every one of those 10 left a big dent or cracked my windshield

Damn that sucks Koyn. I drove the '88 F350 to work cause I knew a storm was coming, figure if I have to pick a vehicle to get hail damage it'll be that one. No damage though.

Just sayin..a good benefit of the stepside trucks is that many of the powerdome hoods are fiberglass and the entire bed is fiberglass. They take no damage in hail storms it seems. I only know this cause I was caught in one in Minnesota and it was pretty crazy. It was actually a tornado/hail storm(but the tornado was somewhere around me, not on top) and a few of us drove off the highway and into the woods.

Hail storms are pretty awesome! Except for the damage.
