Possibly back in a Ranger.......
well as of lately ive been wanting to buy a house and need to cut back on expenses i.e. my truck, so im looking at a ranger, this time alittle newer, an 03, actually now that i think about it, its the same truck as zabeards minus the steroids, not 100% but pretty damn close, drove it tonight and wow i wish i had a 4.0 in my last pile, well ill keep you posted.....

in what way are you trying to save money?
if you're talking about purchase price, then I'd say the ranger is the way to go...you'll get a stuffed 4wd ranger for the price of a basic 4wd taco
if you're talking about gas mileage, then I'd say keep the taco: you can't get a 4-cyl 4x4 ranger
if you're talking about insurance, then find out what difference there are in rates when chaning your vehicle...for example, if age makes the biggest effect, then maybe an older ranger or taco will fit your needs
if you're just trying to lower the overall cost of owning a vehicle, then how about considering an econobox car (focus, corolla, civic, jetta, etc.)?
btw, don't read my sig...I've got strong automotive opinions (especially when it comes to rangers and tacos)

well the taco is an awsome truck, love it, get 22+mpg with 33's, now mind you it doesnt move all that fast but it isnt too bad, its a regular cab so its kinda limited on storage which sucks, its decieving cause it does have alot of interior room and i need to move my seat up to push the clutch all the way in, but like said the ranger has everything and exactly like how i would want MY ranger to be, by doing this id be saving alittle over 200 a month, which may not seem like alot but when you have a new house it helps, plus my truck had 11000 miles on it, im getting an 03 wiht 18000, still a very very new truck, not tooo concerned with the mpg cause ill have the power back which is nice....
