Just put some sandbags in the back and make sure your tires are in good shape.

If you know so much about driving why do you need advice from us?

I have spent some time driving 2wd trucks in nasty snowstorms and I will tell you with 100% certainty that there Is no device that will make it a good idea. You're rolling the dice. Having 4x4 in snow is night and day. But what would I know? Why listen to a guy who spends 4 or 5 months a year with 5+ foot snowbanks at the end of the driveway in an area that saw over 5 meters of snowfall last winter...

and some of us don't have the luxury of having a $20,000 4x4 and a $17,000 2 wheel drive to drive only when the sun shines. maybe if i sign up for welfare then i could afford to have more toys than i actually need.
