Unfortunately, Doug is out of business or so I was told through that email. Whether or not he has updated his site, I do not know. Just wanted to let everyone know. I have been in contact with Don @ Lasota Racing and he seems like a really great guy. A few people on here have used him with great success. Just FYI.
Dern man I'm sure sorry to hear all of that. I haven't dealt with Doug in awhile but when I was having problems awhile back I had his number and more than a couple times I talked to him personally and we straightened it out. Glad to hear there are other guys getting it right! Thanks for the info man.

What year ranger did you use it on? I have a 99 with a 3.0 and have been tossing it back and forth between supperchips cortex, Diablo, or the one I saw on stuff for your ranger dot com.

Yeah I got a Xcal 3 and it sweet! You can change so many things before you run the custom tune too. Like tire size, idle speed, speed limit, etc. However I am using the 93 Octane on mine now and I have significant difference in power. However I am gettin the same mileage as before which is unexpected. But the main thing that I love about it is the shift points in my tranny. So much harder and firmer. No more crap gear changes. I can mash the gas and barely tap the brakes at the same time and roast a set of tires quick lol. I am thinking about going to the 89 or even 87 Octane tune to see if my mileage gains are any different. I just hope I don't lose the performance from the high test gas. Has anybody done that and got different results?

I have a 99 3.0 also. I wish I could get the live wire, but I spose I am greedy. I probably would never use them, but I want my canned tunes and my 3 customs for as much as it costs. According to the site though SCT doesn't have any canned tunes for that model tuner available for my model ranger. Probably just go with a xcal3 instead. Any links to other sites to buy would be great since guys are saying the one is out of business.

I found someone locally on CL selling a little-used Superchips Flashpaq and was considering making an offer on it. Do any of y'all have any experience with them or suggestions about it?

They are just okay. How much? If you can get it cheap then it might be worth it.

You can get a brand new flashpaq for $300. I wouldn't buy used unless you can get it for like half or under.

I'll call them about it in a couple days and see if maybe they've gone down on the asking price so I can get it for around half. Thanks for the advice!
