Paint Can...
So, if you've read my post in Off Topic, you know I had a fun night of wheeling last night. But... There was one part in the trail coming back where there is about a 10" drop, like a mini cliff. No big deal, right? Well, sitting up against that was a bunch of trash, some soda cans, boxes, and what I didn't see... A damn paint can. I didn't see it untill one of the guys I had in the jumper seats goes "Oh sh--, look at that!" and it looked like the paint can had exploded... So I get off the trail and look at my truck, and the entire passager's side is covered in nasty, old white paint, and both the passanger's side rims are covered in white paint. As luck would have it, we found a coin operated carwash about 5 minutes down the road and I managed to wash off all the paint off the body and rims/tires, probibly 98% of the paint got washed off, but this morning I see I missed a few spots... What can I use that would be clearcoat safe to get this paint off? I'm ASSUMING it's latex house paint.

Just use a rag and some paint thinner. Dont put too much on the rag and wipe till it comes off. It should not do anything to the clear coat or your paint. You can also try to buff it too. But I would use a little elbow grease and a little thinner or mineral spirits and a rag that wont scratch your tuck up.

Lol...this is off topic, but what exactly is MILD dish soap? I hear that term all the time, yet I've never see any options at the store for Hot or Medium.
That's some crappy luck that the paint actually made it onto your truck, instead of just blowing the lid off and spraying out away from the truck!
