A Question for guys with the XCal II

A person loads the stock tune back in their truck, then they notice they lost the MPH and odometer function from the larger tires they have on. These corrections were in the performance tune they had. Can you give a basic step by step on how to go in and change just the MPH and gear size?

Your help is appreciated.

get the computer reflashed.. it isnt like older rangers where you just change a gear off the trans.. you need to "rewrite" the program for it

I am pretty sure you have to have a tune, so Fred could make a 87 octane pretty standard tune, you would load that and make the appropriate changes before you upload the tune, otherwise it cant change the stock tune.

Once you return a vehicle to the stock tune you can not change any of the settings. I just found this out when I sold my tuner to Zack and returned the ranger back to stock and still wanted to make changes for tire size. So I just traded the ranger in with the speedo off.
