the srt4 is not a super car. its not an exotic. its not a muscle car.
its the best bang for the buck under $20k (when released)
and that statement is true. they won't pull a Cobra unless highly modified. They won't pull a Porsche or whatever else people think these cars compare to.
But they will stomp an Evo.....from a roll.
I should know. i have an srt.

I'll race them all! I'd beat a majority of them with my impala, but even if I was in my 250 I6 30 year old truck and lost, I'd still laugh at them. Someone once said to me, "Think about it, If I beat a LS1 T/A with a Neon, they have to go home and tell their wife they got beat by a Neon! That must hurt"
To which I replied, "It could be worse, the Neon guy had to tell his wife he Bought a neon!"

In 20 years, Hemi Cudas, 440's, 340 6-packs.. Super-Bee's.. Dodge will be remembered still. The ' Neon ' will still be in the catagory of ' Litter ricer car with awesome fuel econemy '. Hell, at least the K-Car will have a better rememberence for the company as Lee Iacoca used it and a GVT bailout to keep Dodge a float.
Neon? Anyone remember those stupid comercials.. ' Hi! '.
For what it costs to rice out a neon, You could build a vintage car that will actually be worth something.

I honestly compare the Neons to their roots. The ' Reliant K-Car '. A disposable , economic little car that makes the former ' Dodge ' Parent company a great deal of profit.
Anyone ever looked into the build quality of a Neon?
