8.8 & 7.5 axles.....

are the axle tubes the same size on a 8.8 and a 7.5 axle?

i guess it would have to be since the lift kits for my '97 are shown to fit on all Rangers '97 and older......duh!

yea. but 31 splines are bigger

7.5s and 28 spline 8.8s are 2.75" tubes.. 31 spliners are 3.25"

sweet! getting a set made at Louisville Auto Spring for $15 a piece....that includes the u-bolt, nuts, and washers........that isn't bad i dont think considering that the local Ford dealer wanted $16.75 (at a discounted price).....
