Any opinions? wheels

]"]http://[/URL}
I plan on buying wheels as soon as I can decide on which ones.I want to go with a Black wheel to match the trim of my truck and also because I wanted to go a utilitarian route with my latest Ranger(4cyl. XL).Right now I am leaning towards Mickey Thompson Ultra Classic II in 15x8. The one I'm looking at has 3 5/16 backspacing.Is that too much backspacing?I have the option of 4" or 4 1/4". I want them to protude ever so slightly from the truck.

My next question is tire size.My truck is new so I want to get a set of snowtires for the factory wheels and use my factory tires for the new wheels.The MT's wheels are an inch wider.Will it be okay to use the factory tires on them? I can't seem to find a slightly wider tire for a light truck.Gas mileage is important to me that's why I don't want to have a overall smaller diameter wheel/tire as my truck has 3:73 final gears now.I wish I had gotten higher gears.

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.Thanks.

there are several stock wheels that will fit this truck. Lincoln 16' mark 7 wheels / Crown Vic 16' lace wheels / even some dodge wheels. your options are wide open. personally i think the Cobra mustang wheels look great. i would however avoid larger diameter tires than you already have. i went from 225-70-15 too 235-75-15 on after market wheels and my fuel mileage dropped 50 miles a tank.

These have bigger holes and are cheaper:

Level 8 Tracker Wheels

Just another option for you to consider.

Stock size tires will be fine with an 8" wide wheel.

Mustang Bullit wheels Black 17x8 would have been my first choice.My Stang has chrome Bullet (17x10.5 and 17x9) wheels.The Bullets have too much backspacing though.I want something that will protrude(ever so slightly though)from the truck.Thanks for the heads up on the diameter/mileage.
