Icon4 Radio Problem SOS

My 1999 Mazda B4000 TL Edition has been experiencing a radio problem. It displays, "call" often and nothing will play while it is up. It flickers on and off the screen. "Call" is even displayed when the truck is not running. I pulled the fuse out and plugged it back in, but that did not fix the issue as I have seen done in other forums. Can anyone help me?

Reads like the processor inside has lost its programming
It probably has an In Coming CALL feature or button, that mutes the audio
Its stuck on, if there is a button try pushing it a few times to un-stick it, but it is most likely an electronic "on", so button won't effect it

Yes, some report cutting power to radio for extended period, a few days to a week will reset it...........................up to you to try that

As far as I know that is not fixable, look for replacement

I'd throw a new aftermarket unit in it and call it a day. Probably get a descent one for about $100 plus install kit
