Ram Air Hood

Im looking at getting a new truck, since the ranger is totaled, and may possibly be getting an '07 F150
Im am probably going to get an exhaust, K&N intake, airraid throttle body spacer(yes ive heard all the opinions that they work, or that they are paper weights, but ill get good discount for it so im gonna try it) and probably a programmer as well
I also was thinking about a ram air hood for it, mainly for looks, but also as function.
the question being is that this truck will be a daily driver, will rain and or snow affect it any? the hood im looking at has two large raised scoops. I wont be doing any off roading so thats not an issue, i just want to know if daily driving in rain and snow will affect it any IE will the water be able to travel through the scoops and into the intake and is it enough to damage to the motor
Thanks

My bro had a 02 Lighting with a large cowl hood and he had no problem with rain or snow. Yes, he drove his Lighting in snow. I dont think you'll have a problem, I never heard any of the Mach 1's having problems with their shaker.
