Maybe not from a dead stop, But after winding out 1st and 2nd, My "Stock" 2.3 will chirp third at 55mph. Stock 215 Continental tires. All it takes is a speed shift and a clutch dump. Oh, yeah, and a total disregard for tearin stuff up.

sorry to disagree, but the only water around that day was from the rain. by the time i got my turn, the pit was dry. thats the only one ive got pics of though, so oh well.

I agree on the tires comment, and with a stick you could achieve it if you got the RPMs at the right spot when 'speed shifting'. The crappy A/T's that were on my '00 would allow me to chirp 2nd pretty good ( not sure about 3rd though), then I got the firestone destination LE's and it was tough to get em to even chirp from 1-2nd. Oh yeah, my sister's '02 3.8L mustang would chirp 3rd on occasion too.
