I'd say at least 6" on grass, at least a foot to drive on the road(w/o b1tchin up the ski's or the track). Only cuz it'll get packed down. After a foot of snow in my dad's fields, I can only make a couple high speed corners before the dirt starts to show again. Straight aways, not so much.

Well I thought it was a no brainer from the original post to go with the Ranger. But like said earlier if you live in an area with lots of snow like upstate NY or minnesota or something I would prolly go with the sled. The ranger is sweet though.

I could use both about an even amount of time....Then the delima i face with the ranger is i need to pay to store it for about 6-8 months which the ground is snow covered, the truck is selling for $5600 obro. The truck is mint, he did it right for sure, i mean its so nice but i mean New England without a snowmobile in the winter....ehh, im torn

Actic Cat makes some MEAN sleds, even in Michigan, i would still look into the Ranger 1st.
