Ranger down again
Update 1/3/08:
Got it back today, broke both rear lines. Plus it needed another tie rod end, because of hitting the snowbank. Good thing is I got a much needed alignment. lol Well this time I lost the brakes. Somehow I didn't hit anything more than a snowbank. lol Pedal had pressure and then goes to the floor, don't know where it's leaking from can't tell from all the snow and slush under the truck. Worst part I was 15 miles in the middle of nowhere when it happened. Limped it to a gas station added more break fluid and drove it back to the dealership. They can't look at it till at least tomorrow afternoon. When I get it back I'm striping it and trading it in, I've had too many problems with this truck I'm fed up. |
Thats werid i just lost BOTH back wheel cylinders, i smoked a snow bank pretty hard this morning

How many miles do you have?
I hate it when crap takes a crap so close to when other crap took a crap.. i had my battery die a week after getting the transmission pan leak fixed and the previous week I had a coolant leak.. never a dull moment! :spam: |

brakes are not needed anyway! lol
sorry about your luck. hopefully its a cheap fix. i never really had any issues until i started lifting it. |
I'm sorry to hear that. My 2002 has been very reliable except for "self inflicted" wounds by me. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy another Ranger -- but a 4x4 this time, lol.

well not so much when i started lifting it, more when i did the SAS, but its to be expected until you get all the bugs worked out, you probably think whats taking so long right? lol well i try stuff all the time to see the effects, then in the middle of it something goes wrong like a steering shaft or a bent bracket etc... |
116 and nothing major *knock on wood*
thats another reason i like having a manual.. it wont stop you but its tons better than nothing sorry for your luck man |
