I have aquired All-Data

Hey fokes! Through work I have aquired All-Data at home for personal use. If anyone has any questions on a DTC Code or just need help feel free to send me a PM with your problem. I just figured I'd make a posting to help some people out. You can also talk to me on AIM or MSN or even e-mail me.

wont find much for p401, but p0401 would be there.

it says to use this troubleshooting guide from bob to diagnose your problem.

My advice would be unplug the small line going into the top of the EGR and see if the truck runs worse or tries to stall. If it doesnt then you have a clogged EGR. If it does try to stall the engine when you unplug the vac line then the problem is else where.

Check your vacum lines.. This is comon to come off... If you have a vacum guage you may also want to check the the exact pressure.
