What Do You Guys Think I Should Put

Im putting my truck up for sale finally, I need to move up to a full size for the baby coming. Ill post up newer pics soon but I got some already in my profile.

I dont want to just give the truck away but obviously I do need to sale it sometime in the near future and would be much better selling it private rather than trading it in. Acourse the economy is not the best and at the end of the day I do need the truck sold. Or seeing if anyone would be interested.

06 Extended Cab 2 door, 4.0, 5spd, 4x4, 4.10 gears with LS.

80,000 miles, well taken care of, but does have a few dents and scratches like any other vehicle. It is body lifted on brand new 32 BFG AT's, but again is not offroaded as it is my DD.

Got new brake pads, wires, plugs, filters still in box that the new owner can have, I just havent got around to installing them. It does have full AMSOIL fluids all the way around and the truck is taken care maintainence wise very good.

Has rancho 9000 9 way adjustable shocks which I like very much. Has dual alon flashlight mounts for the seats. Chrome surround and billet grill. Still have rear hitch, original mud flaps, original grill and surround, and swaybars with mounts as well. I have lots of extras and originals for this truck, I am indeed the 2nd owner, the first one ordered it from the factory and drove it to 50,000 miles when I picked it up, and I still have THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER/BUILD SHEET as well. Like I said it may not be a show winner like dixie's (aka scott's) and I use my truck like it was intended to be used which is why I have some dents and scratches but it is maintained the proper way and the mechanical/maintainence side is top notch.

KBB private party is around 12 but I doubt anyone is going to pay that privately, but trade in value is 9 something so it would be stupid to sell it under that when I could trade it in for that much.

Opinion's?

These are some recent ones, except I did sell the 33 duratracs and classic locks. It is now brand new 32 BFG AT on the stock wheels.

Thanks

What you saw was just a feeler thread and I was asking like 12 or 12.5 then and was off and on about selling it.

Now im serious about selling it and actually about to put up a legit for sale thread, just seeing what is your alls opinion on what I should ask for it to actually sell it. Also now I actually am going to put it up for sale outside the forums as well.

Don't take a penny less than $11,000. Your pickup is in demand with your engine/tranny combo plus it is an ext. cab.

Post it on CL in your local area for 12k. What I always do is price it above what I want and then they Jew you down to what I actually want for the car. I do that with almost everything. Works every time. These trucks sell like hot cakes around here man. Post that bitch up. She'll sell REALLY fast.

ha I bet you do, thats actually an 04-05 chrome surround that I bought then modded, and then ordered a billet grill for an 04-05 surround, I probably got $200 alone in that lol, but I dont see how people like the H bar grill. Ive seen a few that I liked but other than that I think they aren't very good looking, I assumed people would like my setup better lol.

You should sell the grill and and put a stock one on. Take off all the mods you can and sell them since its not going to help the value on the sale.

I would but the stock xl parts look bad compared to these and I feel like it would hurt what someone would pay for it.

At least stock xl parts would match an xl truck. Right now it's an xl with chrome goodies here and there.
Get xlt mirrors, to match that grill. It looks good but outta place at the same time since it is he only chrome piece.

HARSH.

and actually the only thing I dont like about the xl parts is the solid front bumper which I have painted to match the upgraded style, and I dont like the look of the rear bumper portion painted to match, I think the solid black rear bumper looks better. As far as the side mirrors go again I like the solid black look over the over with the chrome on them. I do agree the grill and surround look slightly out of place now but you got to remember I did have my Classic Locks which really helped bring it all together vs now with the stock wheels.

Not ment to be. But look at the pics, it kinda sticks out. If you had a argent or white grill with the billet it would be more toned down.

I'd still pay $11 for it though.

Ah, yea if it had classics it would be a nice balance.

I'd love to ask the cable company here to swap me their blue grill like vista4.0's for my chrome but then the only thing on mine that would be chrome would be my mirrors.

well like I said with the other wheels it match alot better but I just recently sold them and the duratracs last month or so when I found out about the baby. I will agree that if the wheels were chrome again it would match alot better again. Ill take all the way down to 10 k for it so hopefully I will have good luck.

EDIT: nevermind ya already saw the classic lock comment

Yeah I might be able to get that out of it and im def not to happy about taking 10 for it but I will. A vehicle is worth w.e anyone is willing to pay and if I sat long enough on it I could maybe get 12 out of it, but thats just the nature of the game. Were also not talking about some craigslist add up for sale for 3 or 4 grand; 10,11,12 grand or w.e isn't a small amount of money for people nowadays so it just makes it that much more difficult to sell quickly unless you let it go cheaper. Im not just going to give the damn thing away but I dont really have the time to just sit on the truck and wait for it to sell forever which is why I will let it go as low as 10, it might be low but it is what it is and is just my loss the buyers gain and bought at the right time. Im not stressed for time yet but with shes already almost half way into the pregnancy so I dont have all the time in the world either. Im willing to sell it so we can be happy and be comfortable and have one less thing to worry about and the buyer will atleast feel like they got a good deal.

Thats one thing that I pride myself in is how I maintainence my vehicles and such and this one is no exception. It might not be show room perfect paint and body like scotts is but its a truck and I use it like it was intended to be, if it gets scratch then owell, I dont know about you guys but I dont buy a 4x4 truck to be a street queen and the truck was built to be used. Obviously no offense to scott and he does keep his trucks paint like show room new so props to him for that, but for me thats not what I buy a truck for; I buy a truck to use it and not havta worry about alittle scratch here or there but maintainence is something I keep up on no matter what. Obviously I dont bash on the truck or offroad as it is my DD and i certainly am not happy if it gets a scratch or dent, but I also don't have a heartattack if it does accidently get scratched and the price reflects that. If I was Scott there's no way id take less than 12 for his 06 with alittle more miles than mine and if I recall I think he was going to ask 14 for his which his truck is probably worth that with as perfect as his paint on the body and bumpers are, but thats also why my price starts at 10.5 because I know mine has some scratches here or there and a small dent!

Thats also why I have so many things to give to the new buyer like brakes, filters, fluids, etc. Its not that I just want to give them away but I already have them for the truck, just havent got around to installing them all and most isn't needed, I just usually buy the stuff in bulk. Like when I bought amsoil fluids for the whole truck this past year, it was cheaper to buy in bulk as most know amsoil isn't cheap. Just like I bought brake pads in bulk, it just doesn't need them yet.

I suppose I could keep it all and sell it but I probably won't even waste the time because making profit isn't my intentions. I just need to sell the truck sometime in the near future and the stuff is no use to me once I sell it so I might as well let the new buyer have it all and to not have an excuse to not keep the truck maintained in top shape.

Include it as extra parts and ask for more. Ask $13 w/ fluids, pads and everything else but don't tell em til they pick it up. Just say "I don't need this stuff anymore. So you can take it". Then they feel like they got a deal.
