Ranger Sites...?
Anybody know of any other good websites covering Rangers?

^ they all suck lol...
www.therangerstation.com is the only good one for tech info on older trucks but other then that no thanks |
I can't even look at gen-edge.info anymore, the colors are awful.
|
I think GE and ORR sucks. No one is ever on. I like RF the most out of all.

It's probly not what your looking for, but i found it pretty interesting...
http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/Conte...=FOA&c=DFYPage So does anyone know of any sites about rangers that isn't a forum? |

Stone... IMO RPS isnt bad...
|
I like RPS, some sweet lowered trucks and even lifted trucks on there. Some of those guys have some amazing PS skills too. I'm starting to like it more and more everytime a political thread comes up on here.
|
RPS has been very quiet lately, since the site almost crashed, and it's constantly under construction, so I've been frequenting alot here lately. THe guys on RPS are pretty cool, I think there alot more pricks here on R-F, but alot of cool guys too. I'm still getting used to everyone on here..
|
Yeah I'll agree with that. RPS just seems like its more welcoming now, idk
|
Word. Everyone is real cool there, down to earth. They don't deal with the pricks, and the bashing that goes on here. SOme people like that, some people hate it. I've noticed a little resentment here on R-F, towards RPS.
R-F is a good forum too, I'm not really learning anything like I would on RPS, nothing technical about trucks at least. I have to credit R-F, cause without R-F I would've never talked to D. and got his recommendation for my exhaust set up, which I should be getting installed sometime over the next few weeks! :) |
when first originated, Generation-edge.com was pretty cool. then it re upped as generation-edge.info and never seemed to catch on.

my favorite is therangerstation.com but fte has a ranger section that is pretty good. just type in http://www.ford-trucks.com/ and go to the forums section, then scrol down to the ranger section.
|
I mainly use R-F and TRS, i venture over to pirate4x4.com occasionally but they laugh at stock and stock-ish rangers, they're also very harsh (anyone who thinks R-F is full of pricks, go over to pirate and say you drive a stock ranger and see what they have to say).. so don't expect to find much info on anything close to stock over there. If you want to learn about 4wd stuff, then pirate is the place to be.
|
I jump over to TRS occasionally, checked our RPS a couple times, but you gotta admit, a lot of the folks here, are also on all the other sites, so why bother when the info is all the same across the board!:shrug:
I dunno, I'm also on my local club, RMFTC, where we have a lot of Rangers, and so forth. |
There are other Ranger sites? ZOMG :smashfrea

besides all the members, I think the mods are worse on RPS. I like the site and I have been a member there for a couple years, but the mods are over-powered idiots. :drillserg
RPS = more bags and static drop R-F = 4x4, sus lift, body lift either way, both websites assist with the common drivetrain problems that all Rangers suffer |
i love both RF and RPS im over at RPS bc there are more VA ppl there but i come here and generation-edge.info to find rwenzing or zoom when i have problems
|
I have been at TRS for several years. Someone we had a thread similar to this and I noticed a lot of guys were on RF as well. So I decided I would join. There isnt as much activity as I would like on RF, compared with TRS. Good info at both sites. I am now checking each one regularly. I also surfed RPS for a while a year or two ago. Never really found it that interesting. Mostly newer trucks to it was hard to find help on my GEN3.
