94 2.3 Apr 12, 2010 10:03 PM

no and that makes no sense whatso ever lol truck started and got to my friends and when trying to leave truck no start

OTRtech Apr 12, 2010 10:09 PM

The fuel cut-off switch is in the passenger side footwell. That's why the question was asked.
Did you try resetting it ?
Ever change the timing belt in it ? They have a habit of going with no prior warning when the engine is shut off .

oh but it does young grasshopper! just like OTRtech said, a passenger can easily kick that switch (inertia switch) and cut the power to the fuel pump. give it a check anyways. press the round red button and try starting it.

no havent reset it didnt know there was one and i havent had a passenger in my truck in a while and that's a no on the timing belt.....my dad's friend who is a mechanic said it sounds like a fuel pump

05edge Apr 12, 2010 10:26 PM

a no start is a no start, it all sounds the same whether its no fuel or no spark. the only thing that might sound different is the fuel pump not priming, which that inertia switch would cause.

got it started. it seems like it's the fuel pump relay switch sticking

Yep happened to me today. Took a while to find the switch, but we eventually got it.
