Rangers on 20's please

Anyone have photos of 01+ Rangers on 20's with off-road tires? I searched but google is struggling this time

Let's say I add 20 inch rims on a stock 4x4 03 Ranger. What's the biggest size tire I can run on them without lifting? rims are 20x8.5. I will add a body lift in a couple of months but I already have the rims from a previous truck.

I know ''sell em and get some tires''

you could get away with a 32" tire with full torsion bar crank depending on the backspacing on the rims

285/55/R20 tires would probably be the best if you have the backspacing for it. That's roughly a 32x11.2, but bumping up to a 285/60 is going to be too big.

I was able to find a few off-road trucks with 20s.

3" BL, 2" SL, unknown tire size:
Name: rangerondubs.jpg
Views: 295
Size: 227.5 KB

No lift, 18" wheels, 31" tires:

SAS 41x14.50 tires, 20" wheels (probably doesn't help much):

3.5" SL, 3" BL, 35s, 20s:

No info at all on lift or tires, looks like no lift with either 18s or 20s:

No lift, 275/45 tires, 20s:

There not 20's but this might give you an idea..
Before body lift or t-bar crank 18's with 32's

After Body lift and new 32's

18's and 32's would look way better than 20's and 32's, especially in an off road type tire.

I agree, I wish I had a picture of a Ranger I saw on a daily basis in Lima, OH. It was a red 4x4 no lift on 20s, it didn't look good.

I'd go with 17's max for a 32" or 33" tire.

Going with a body lift definitely expands your options:
355/50/R20=34x14x20 (you would need serious backspacing and a fair amount of trimming, but it could be done)
305/55/R20=33x12x20

This is actually my truck! It has no lift and the tire/wheel combo is 255/45/20. I plan on lowering the torsions and removing the stock blocks in the rear to give it a better stance.
