Re-chrome Vs New Bumpers

Ok guys I own a 2002 XLT extended cab ranger. Its has chrome bumpers and chrome step bars. The bumpers and the step bars have some imperfections on them I was wondering about having them re-chromed. I was wondering if it would be cheaper to do re-chrome or buy new bumpers and step bars.

id just find a used edge bumper and put that on there. touchup paint costs a hell of a lot less than a rechrome.

I got my front bumper new for like 80 bucks, I highly doubt re-chroming is less than that.

Where did you get your front bumper at for 80 dollars. I've been searching online and I haven't found anything that cheap. what I've found front bumper over $100.00 rear bumper over $200.00 step bars over $300.00

Rechroming is going to be $$$, we used to get crap chromed all the time when we owned the Harley store. You will crap yourself when you find out how much it will cost lol.

I replaced my chrome front bumper for under 100 bucks and my chrome rear bumper for under 100 bucks, i went the painted look instead of chrome. If you really want chrome that bad you're probably better off finding a new one or one in good condition. As mentioned above it's probably not going to be worth it to re-chrome for your scenario
