Actually no. If you have it in the power feed line to the fan then it means that the line is energized by the controller but the fan motor could be burnt out or like zabeard said it doesn't mean the fan is at full operating RPM. So right now you have a super bright light that tells you that you have power runnig through a wire.

Ohh super bright light! Save my engine from overheating! Boom! *sizzle* sigh...

Anyways....the stock fan is back on...no shroud for now...need to get one. I feel better.

LOL!

The sound of the stock fan never bothered me. I don't hear it at all in the morning but when it heats up outside I can hear it but even then its not too bad. When I do hear it I rev the engine a bit more before I shift so it can have some RPMS to move the air around.
