A Real world Philips XTreme Vision test

I own a 2003 Mazda B2300:

I took a lux reading on my 10 year old OEM GE 9007 LL bulbs:

I used a Pyle PLMT56 lux reader:

GE 9007 LL Bulbs: Max Lux at 10 inches: 367 max; with a max range from 340 to 367 lux.

I removed the original GE 9007 LL bulbs and replaced them with:

Philips X-treme Vision 9007XVS2 bulbs:

Philips X-treme Vision 9007XVS2 bulbs at 10 inches: 574 max; with a max range of 555 to 574.

So I gained 57% over the 10 year old GE bulbs.

For $37, I think that is a good value return. Not even close to their advertised 100% gain but performance for the money is fantastic.

I think this product is worth the money. Remember, that this is the X-Treme VISION model as Philips has several similar sounding names.

I think for $37 bucks, the visibility you gain is worth it all day long.
