Icon8 Really irritated bout what I saw!!

I was up in Carlisle, PA all weekend for the All Ford Nationals. They had this "Ford Experience" thing going on. You can check out some of Fords products and test drive. So, we walk over in the humidity. They have an outdoor and indoor display. I was so F***IN PISSED and still am!! They had every Ford Product represented there BUT NO F***IN RANGER?!?!?! I ranted on and on all day about that. They had the F-series, Focus, Fusion, Edge, Sport Trace, Mustang, and some other POS looking thing. NO GOD DA*N RANGERS!!! Is it me or did these Ford folks REALLY drop the ball on that?!?!

Ranger pushed to the back burner again. Lately I've noticed at local shows, auto expo's, etc. that Ford pushed the F-Series now more than anything. It's their bread and butter I guess.

i think the ranger's supposed to phase out within the next year or so. then ford wants to add it to the F-series (i.e. F-100) i think they really do want to call it the F-100. Ford is also moving the small pickup production lines to africa and that area. the f-series will stay in the U.S. then europe will produce cars and so.

If it was there, there were about 5 of us that didn't see it Saturday morning. And trust me, I searched and searched. I even looked through my pics again. I didn't realize they are phasing it out...but when is that happening? Are they not still selling 08's and 09's? Just really ate at my britches. And you're right, you rarely seen them at shows, cruz's, etc. Still not fair for what I think is a great truck!

The production at the assembly plant is slowing down to a trickle. I'd say late '09 to mid 2010 it will be gone sadly if not sooner. Keep those Rangers they will be collectable in 30 years lol. It's sad watching it "die" they are good, reliable trucks. But Ford killed this truck like they did the Tarus as well.

NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love B-series.

Why are we getting rid of smaller trucks and keeping full size? If the makers put some backbone into it they could make the smaller trucks get about the same MPG as a car, they don't weigh much more then one. Did anyone happen to look outside at the 5.00 per gallon gas?

anyone have some water for me, I think I just got burned by the N00B chick?!

Not always, but how about almost. Then again I heard SuperGildo goes for the women like that. To quote Summer Catch (Jessica Beil was HOT in that bikini!):

I like my girlfriend's big beautiful...........eyes! Her blue eyes, yup! I'm so in trouble if she ever reads this.

Yeah here in Texas ive watched the shift first hand not even 2 years ago all the comercails from ford were about the ranger being the hottest truck in Texas and the #1 seller now it has all shifted to the F-150 Texas edition .
Wich it was bound to happen when they cut the price of the F-150 and raieded the ranger and people noticed hey for 1k more I can get a fullsize they did and sales went throught the roof .
But im waiting for the all elusive Bronco to come back in 2010 if they kepp there word .

Unless gas plummets to $2/gal or the "new" bronco gets 50mpg I DOUBT that many gas guzzlers will be produced in the future. GM's already clipping production on such vehicles.

I think its ashame their being phased out. Not everyone like a big honking truck. There are benefit of a smaller truck, especially when it comes to parking and all. Oh well, thanks for enlightening me. I'm gonna hang onto my SCREAMIN 07 for as long as I can.
