Rear Bumper

Can anyone tell what they think about this rear bump, seems out of place. It has a lift with 33's on it. Is this caused by a body lift?

Thanks OregonBlacktail

I'm a critical bastard so here goes... I think it does not look good, the bumper should be raised up to the body mounting position.

I should have been more clear. What is the cause of this? This is not my truck but looking to buy it. Is it the lift? Is there a kit to fix? What is going on here?

Yes, it is the body lift (BL) !

It doesn't look that bad, a nice job at closing the gap created by the BL, but still not the way I would do it.

With a good BL Kit, there are a few things that need to be moved upward with the body.
Radiator, bumpers, you'll need to extend some lines... some can stretch, and if you want it to look good from the side you can buy inserts or the fender wells to cover the gaps created by the BL.

IF / WHEN you look for a kit, make sure of what the Kit contains and what you will need to fabricate to get everything to match together and IMHO... look good !

From the picture, the Kit on this Ranger didn't include, or maybe the owner chose not to use, the Bump Bracket to move the bumper up.

Some people have made their own kits, but there are some extra pieces in some kit that make the BL work, check out the kit first.

Also, don't go too high with the BL; longer bolts mean higher stress on the body bolts.

Luck to ya !
