Removing All Emblems Need It Clean

Hello My 06 Ranger Has The Big Ford And Ranger Emblems On The Tailgate Are They Just 2 Sided Tape On Or With The Pegs Through The Gate Also The Fender Emblems The Cleaner The Better For Me

You forgot a MAJOR step, you HAVE to weld the holes, before you do any body work to them. I would use a good Plasic filler too, cheaper and much better then bondo.

papier-mache is a nice cheap option if welding and bondo is to extensive of an option for you, however it wont be very strong...lol

im just gonna shave the handle and weld up the holes and repaint the gate thanks for the input guys

when ever you weld to holes hold a block of copper behind the hole then weld ontop of the copper filling in the hole. the weld will NOT stick to the copper. then all you have to do is smooth the outside down and repaint.

if i'm not mistaken, the 06 tailgate ford badge is slightly inset into the tailgate panel, so you wouldnt only have alignment holes to deal with, but also the recessed area would have to be filled in to get a smooth final product.

not on the 06's just on the fullsize trucks
