In my other thread i mentioned that my fog light lense is yellow and most likely cracked. I am trying to remove the whole thing. My truck is a 98 xlt. I went underneath my truck to look at the light and saw the two wires inside of a tube coming to the back of the light. It says to unlock twist left and to lock twist right. I tried twisting both ways but it didn't budge either time. Can anyone help me?

 

well had to deal with those connections after i had a little run in with a dog down the street (dog was fine), came out from behind a row of trees and right infront of me. Ended up ripping off the valence and one of the fogs. The other i had to really work, twisting wise, to get it loose but that sould be all you need to do, i don't think there are any retaining clips or anything.
