Cruise Control Issues

Ok, so here is the run down:

95 4.0L Super Cab 4X4 Automatic

My Cruise control won't turn on. I have checked the fuse and it is good. I don't know what else to do. The cruise control module under the hood has a good connection to the wiring harness. I am at a loss as to what else I need to check. Please help me with this. thank you.

there was a recall for the cruise control switch not sure if it pretains to your truck but call any ford dealerships service and give them your vin number and they will check and see then they will replace it for free if the recall is out for your truck

Alright one way to check to see if the recall was party done is to pop your hood and look where your brake master cylinder is and if there is something unpluged then the first half of the recall is done. That plug lets your cruise work.

Check and make sure you have brake lights, it might be that the switch that hooks to the brake pedal isn't working, mine stopped working and so did the cruise. Changed the little switch out and now my cruise works great again..
