97 ranger question

Hey guys...just need some help with 2 questions...its a 97 ranger xlt 6cyl 5spd

1. truck was an ac delete...can i add ac to it from another truck? If so what yr and models?

2. Is there any way to adjust the clutch pedal...it grabs so damn high, almost at the top? I noticed its only a bar connected to the pedal.

Thanks for the help.

well put an ac from a 97, and the belt and wiring and she should be peachy. if your clutch is cable, then check the link, but if its a hydro, then nope.

there is an adjustment on the F series trucks of that year maybe on the ranger also. what it is if you look up under there that metal rod goes through the firewall. follow it back to where it clips on to the metal piece that then goes up to the shaft that runs to the pedal itself. That middle piece that the rod connects to should be removable and you can adjust it there
