I thought there was a topic on this a while back, but I can't seem to find it...

I took my truck in to get my emission test and inspection done today. They told me that the computer in my truck had recently been restarted so it would not pass the emissions test(i caused this by having the battery disconnected for a while yesterday). Anyhow, they told me that I had to reprogram the computer by driving the truck 150 miles and then bring it back in to be retested.

Are there any methods of reprogramming the computer that are easier/quicker than driving 150 miles?

no! the truck was kicked into RE-LEARN mode

it has to relearn the fuel map and emissions map to store the correct info
