My 1999 Ford Ranger xlt does not have a tack it has batt,gas,engine temp, oil temp, and the odometer. but no tach. If i get a cluster that has a tach and says it will supposedly fit a 1999 Ranger how will i know it will work, fit properly, or if the tach part will work or if any of it will work. Please help me out.

 

If the cluster looks the same as the one you have in your truck now. then it'll fit. there really isn't any swapping of cluster parts that i know of, just whole cluster swapping.
