Restore 1987 Ford Ranger

I have a 87 Ford ranger 2.9 v6 4x4...looking for any tips and tricks for upgrading parts, replacing brake lines, and mass derusting...any tips are welcomed thank you in advance.

what kind of brake lines would be best?
Has anyone tried the teraflex*? Steel braided brake lines that are supposed to be completely customizable?
