ROAD TRIP!! New Orleans, get ready

I'm heading down to Blue Orleans tomorrow. there's a big sporting event there you may have heard of, involving four teams, and they're the last four teams still putting the orange ball through the hoop, one of which being my wildcats.

For the slow folks, I'm going to the Final Four at the Superdome...

So probably gonna put close to 2000 miles on the ol ranger. 3 of us goin, so my friend should have fun the jump seat for 800 miles one way. Probably due for an oil change, but oh well whats another 2 grand on the clock? I run full syn anyway.

Not really worried about the reliability, and I got tow straps, jumper cables, first aid kit, some oil, and junk. I dunno.

I'll be stopping in Hattiesburg for the night and then on down in the mornin! Until Tuesday I'll be there.

I dunno, no real questions I guess, but it's the first big trip for my truck. this trip will push me over 50000 miles.

Enjoy the drive and enjoy yourself when you get there. I, for one, dislike New Orleans. It's the weirdest city I've ever been in. The last three or four times I've been there were purely out of necessity.

New Orleans is definitely a crazy place to be even when there isn't something big going on.

If you feel like making a detour, maybe me and ^that guy^ can work out a quick mini meet.

I'll be around. :D

Yeahhhhhhh woohoo

Mini meet would have been nice but no way that would have fit into my schedule.

I'm glad I made the trip, it was a good experience and the games were awesome and we won the championship. That said, there were a lot of annoyances I had to dea with.

I drove over 2000 miles and spent 30 hours behind the wheel over the last five days, so I have gotten a lot f quality time with my truck. Mileage is now well over 51000.

I got pulled over by a LA state trooper, got lost, saw some small towns, and spent a lot on parking and food. More stories and pics later, I'm back in class now after my 15 hour trip yesterday, getting back this morning at 2:30 am.

So funny story, this guy had a bunch of cans in the back of his truck. An entire garbage bag came out of his truck, and exploded onto the road. I went through a cloud of cans, and this little guy ran all the way back to KY with me.
