bought a Jet Chip for the truck today got it for 250 installed...pretty stoked! i got in the truck and man that thing just felt like it had more power..crazy seemed like i could get up and go. I had it park though and revved it and it wouldnt go past 3000 rpm?!? whats up with that? Also, I ordered a new exhaust system should be here wednesday! V Force Performance..duals of course, supposed to be 30% louder and deeper than Flowmaster but we will see. so i dropped close to 700 after the nice 10% TN taxes....heres a pic!

So, i will have a chrome tip with glass pack (single) for sale soon.....anyone????

can't be both.....the chip plugs in between the computer and the wiring harness and the tuner you plug into the service port under the dash, and then modify the computer program.....

 

lol, i mis understood you..i thought you meant did i get it programmed then installed..its the chip..went into above firewall by the harness

if you cant go above 3000rpm it means that it didnt take the rev limiter off... and if it didnt take that off, prolly didnt take the speed limiter off, meaning have fun trying to go about 93mph.

 

lol, this thread is so old lmao...but it did take the speed gov off?!? just to update you guys..i got it to around 95-96ish and she didnt like it to much I drive her like a caddy
