Remember, if you're gonna roll. Turn into the direction of the roll and hammer down. (lots of skinny pedal) that's your best bet to save it.

That being said, an H1 is rated to be able to traverse a 40* side slope so there's no way a ranger will be more than that.

Climbing/Descending is all a ton of variables too. Lockers, brakes, wheels, tires, air pressure.. I'm not gonna say its harder to roll this way, buts its less likely. Its gonna be pretty hard to put yourself in a situation to roll over backwards on a climb with a relatively stock Ranger, but if you do try and get it into reverse and floor it. If you're descending and it starts to go just hit the gas.

I had a few really close calls and the one I do have pictures of doesn't look too bad.
matt, you are absolutely right on all of your points, i am not going to disagree with any of them... i'm not worried about flipping it over backwards or rolling it over it's nose, i would think you would lose traction long before that ever happened... i was going to say a ranger might have a better roll angle because the h1 is high centered being it's an suv, but then i realized it's an h1 not a chevy product...

as far as the variables go, i am more or less looking ideal shop/experiment angles, the rest i can play by ear, i just want some type of idea... if i were to jack the wheels on one side up, where is it going to lift off of the jacks and keep going? you know what i mean?

One time I was trying to take some pictures to show my mad flex yo to some people online and I parked my truck on a honda civic tire and almost rolled it. It was insane, I really need to know the angle before the truck rolls now so I can be safe next time. Or maybe when I'm out driving though some little mud puddles and messing up someones construction site and getting tickets I should know what the angles are. When I do my porter cable axle swap my angles will be so much better and I'll be able to drive over even bigger curbs.
