anybodys windshield have a lot of small chips on there rangers? my 07 fx4 off road started getting small chips almost pencil tip shape small on my front windshield. now im always cleaning my truck and have only 3700 miles new on it. i dont drive it much since i bought it new in 06. seems like they use crappy glass or soft glass. nothing really hitting it but road crap, ie leaves, dirt from highway etc!!. my truck is always clean and waxed once a week. that front windshield looks like its seen a rock storm?? dont get it. anybody have same problem on there newer rangers?.

i have an 04 and i have 2 chips and a crack in it. I dont know if its from rocks or something else because they were there when i got it.

Do you have glass coverage on your insurence. I do and im getting mine replaced here soon.

 

I havent had any chips on my windshield. Mine is an 07 and I have 3100 miles on it. I accually parked under my parents acorn tree and a couple of acorns fell on it and nothing happend to it. My Truck mainly sits in the garage though collecting dust, lol. I accually took it out on wednesday for a funeral though.

 

I do, I was thinking it was from dirt on the windshield that when the windshield wipers went on the wipers pressed the sand down and made little chips. I can only seen them when my windshield is super clean though (newspaper + stoners invisible glass cleaner + 0000 wool paper).

 

dont know?. i never really drive my truck during the week, only weekends because i have a beater truck for the week days. this windshield looks like its been hit by small little stones. the more i clean it the more little chips i see. weird??.
