A little bit of This, And A little bit of That

ok so the time for me to finally buy my ranger is fast approaching

so heres the problem tho.

this is my first car that i will be taking on a payment so i will be dealing with the dealership. now iv seen in other posts ppl get these sick trucks for like 4 or 5 grand.. but i cant find those 1s so heres where i need help haha

my main search engine for this buy is CL and auto trader im lookin for a 4x4 with under 60k miles now is 12 or 13 grand 2 much to pay for that? (yeah i know i can get the dealer to bring it down to 10ish probly but still just wanted to make sure i wasnt makin a stupid buy.

The dealership I used to work for put them on the lot for that uch with almost those exact stats(60k 4X4 ect.) So yea that sounds about right

It depends on what year it is as to if that price is to much.

alright well heres what im lookin for to help make the thread alil more specific

4x4,2000+,60k- miles and thats about it (color,bed style, and gen i dont really care about cause i dont know about em) and oh a bigger engine possably a v6

You will not get a 4 cyl with 4wd. You can get a 4wd 2001-2003 for 5-8k at a smaller dealership. I've seen them of that around here. The 4.0 is the biggest stock engine and the 3.0 is the next one down, both are 6 cylinders.

most of the ones iv seen on autotrader are 6 i think as for the 4 and 3.0 iv seen a good bit of both

I bought my 01,4x4 off-road pkg. 4.0L a year ago for $9,000 had 80,000 miles
