many ?'s

I have a 02 3.0 put 33's on after lifting but I'm have issues with shifting.
Its automatic with an open 7.5 3.73 axle the motor it seems can hardly keep up when driving on the highway
if i were to get a different axle with different gears could i correct this problem
i need a limited slip axle anyway n i dont want the motor at 3 grand when just driving at highway speeds
i was told this could be problems for the tranny but im not shooting out of the barrel or hotrodding or anything n the tranny is in good shape
just cerious want my options are if any

well number one you bought a 3.0, put 33s on it with 3.73 gears....you need to regear to at least 4.56s...

get your power back...that should get it close to stock drivability...the 3.0 isnt known for being powerful to begin with

yes you can if you have the 8.8 rear but you have a 7.5 so id look for an expo rear end(disc brakes and 31spline axles) and search for gears for that axle...i take it your 4wd?
