Scan Gauge

I am really thinking about getting myself one for Christmas. What can it all do? I read the stuffyourranger website about its decription. Can I lets say use it in my dads 2000 F-150 or do I have to buy something for it? It would be nice to put in his truck when we pull our car trailer. What codes can it read? I don't have any problems now but just want to know. How about ABS codes?

I have read the site I just did not know if it is some special connector or it can be used in any vehicle. Also, if it does ABS codes.

I dont thinnk ABS codes are done with that scangauge..

OBDII is a port that most newer cars have on them so codes can be read. On an F-150 you will find it down where the pedals are about centered with the steering wheel.

It plugs into the OBDII port, which is the same on all 1996+ cars and trucks, regardless of the make or model.

Love mine, if you get one try to get the blend mount that mounts the gauge above or below the rear view mirror. I think it's the best place for it and easy to read/access.

it'll read check engine light codes...it'll give you something like P0175. it'll giveyou the number, then you'll have to figure out what that number means.

It'll work on any '96+ domestic brand vehicle. I might be wrong with the domestic deal, but Anything OBDII it'll work on. I've plugged mine into seriously 15 different vehicles to pull codes.

Yeah I've plugged mine into 3 so far. I want to get another cable for mine so I don't have to mess with it every time.

Ya, what it is, is that my mom's 2002 sebring has check engine light on because of the gas cap. So i figured I could turn it off for here.

Yes you can use it on her car too.

IMO it's the best bang for the buck out there. It doesn't cost much in comparison to what you get.

Also, I'd suggest buying an extra cable. That way you can "install" one in your truck so that it's out of sight. Just un-velcro the guage and unplug it when you want to go check another vehicle.

Check out my web page

You don't enter the tire size, you enter a percentage that your different. This allows you to calculate for different gear ratios as well.
