I used the factory screw jack the other day and had it fully extended. The jack looks like it has never been out of the storage compartment. When retracting it to store it the jack will not fully retract. To fit in the storage compartment it needs to be ~ 8 inches. The jack will only retract to ~ 10 inches where it feels like it jambs. I've tried several things to get it to retract fully. Wiggling while retracting, retracting upside down, retracting with and without pressure.
Is the jack broke?
