have a question.

I own a 2004 ford ranger 4X4 tremor, would that be considered a FX4..

No...a tremor is considered an EDGE.

FX4 is considered an XLT.

is an xlt considered an FX4?

The FX4 package was available on the XLT model Rangers.

The "real" FX4 (like the "Level II") has additional equipment like a heavier duty 31 spline rear, Torsen limited slip and even a manual transfer case. It's a very nice Ranger to start with for offroading and built more than the standard XLT 4x4 -- at least here in the states.
