and 3k doesn't even begin to cover all the work and parts on this truck IMO

it'd be badass to take to the dunes every weekend!

 

I'd buy that...that thing is sweet.

 

X2, but get rid of the 2.3 and drop in something with some power, especially to push the 35s

 

i'd lower the tire size, especially if it's gonna be your beater. maybe a 33 or 32.

i kinda agree about the motor swap, but why not throw a turbo on there. be different.

and i'd regear and either turbo it, or drop a 5.0 in

wouldn't a supercharger be better for dunes over a turbo?

 

like it but would have to drop the canary yellow and how in the hell can that 2.3 push those big tires lol

 

You don't need low end torque in the dunes. You want as much wheel speed as possible. A turbo would be better because you are going to be spending alot of time in the higher RPM's. Also turbos are lighter, and more efficient

Looks like someone put way more money into a truck that they wont get back. Looks like a crappy truck with big wheels and some pipe welded in the bed. If you like it, go for it. Its not my money.

Yeah I wouldn't spend 3 grand on that. Just because he put x amount of hours and money into it doesn't mean it's worth that much on the outcome. That thing is and will be a moneypit, and someone will be glad to see it go.

Go get a quad for 3 g's, you'll have way more fun in the dunes on that than you will in that slow underpowered truck.

 

Than we would be on a quad forum and not a ranger forum......Ty stop looking for awsome old rangers your stupid
