Repairs usually dont mean jack. It is something that needs to be done,
Its kind of like adding accessories and aftermarket parts, it really doesn't add to the value of the truck. Ask him what he has rebuilt in the motor. Top end? Bottom end? Has he just thrown new rings and pistons in, then called it rebuilt? Did he do it or a shop?

Most of the parts he added are regular parts that you would expect to replace in a 20 year old truck. Thermostat, Tires, brakes, U-joints are all regular things. They certainly don't add value to the truck.

This is all IMO. Personally I wouldn't offer over a grand for it, but that's just me.

I would buy it and make it into a trail rig and keep your truck as the DD.
Then with that comes....you need to sell your truck and by yourself a full size to pull around this black ranger lol

ya but what annoys me is i just got the BL on and the truck is in good condition and i know constantly starting it up shutting it off letting it idle and shifting from P to D is tearing the **** out of it lol.....

i put 22,000 miles on it in a year and my drive to work is only 3 miles

how many miles do you have on the truck now? That is a pretty average set of miles per year. Get another daily driver and make the ranger a weekend truck
