popping???

well... the last couple of days ive noticed that sometimes when i go over a bump in the road, or even a speedbump i hear a popping noise. im not sure what it is, but it doesnt do it all the time... and it doesnt really vibrate the truck at all, but it just pops, and id say it does maybe once every 10 bumps in the road... i dont know.. any ideas?

are you turning when this happens?? it could be as simple as steering stops, or it could be a shock or ball joint.

My sway bar used to do that also... When the bolts were not tightened.

easiest thing to do is grease the steering stops and check to make sure the shock and swaybar bolts are tight. for the stops you just smear grease on the metal nubs on the sides of the lower control arms. if that doesnt fix it it may be the ball joints
