simple radio question

i did search for this and came up with nothing.

what does the "comp" button on the mach mp3 radio mean and what does it do?

that is a really good question. i dont kno. "component" maybe. maybe try pushing it and see wat it does lol.

i can't really tell that it does anything. i think it just gets a little bit louder but it may just be me. oh well, screw it lol

COMP (Compression): In CD mode, press to bring louder and softer levels into more comfortable listening level.


mmm also in the Manual:
Compression (CD): Press to bring soft and loud passages together for a more consistant listening level.

Yep. It is compressor. If you like blasting music on the stock CD player, it will be much better with COMP turned on.
